Turkey is to build a railway in its eastern part to connect the network with Iran. The semi-official Anatolia news agency on Tuesday said the railway will link eastern Turkish destinations of Kars, Igdir, Aralik and Dilucu and is part of the Istanbul-Islamabad railway project. <br/><br/>It said the Istanbul-Islamabad project aims to make railway transportation between Pakistan, Turkey and Europe more efficient by shortening the train ride between Turkey and Pakistan to 4 days from 11 days.The project is estimated to be completed in five years.<br/>
