Turkey has sacked over 2,700 more people from its public service sector for alleged links to terror groups. According to two government decrees published in the Official Gazette today, those dismissed include 637 military personnel. The government said, the purges are needed to counter the continuing danger posed by followers of US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen.<br/><br/>Turkey blames Gulen for last year's failed military coup. Some 50,000 people have been arrested and over 1 lakh 10,000 civil servants have been dismissed for alleged links to Gulen or terror groups in a crackdown since then.Gulen has denied any involvement in the coup.<br/><br/>
