Turkey has urged Syrian government to curb violence against civilians as it opened its borders to Syrian refugees who fled a town near Turkish border fearing a military assault. Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said that Syria should change its attitude towards civilians and should take its attitude to a more tolerant level. He added that Turkey is monitoring developments in Syria with concern. Meanwhile, Britain and France have asked the U.N. Security Council to condemn Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. British Prime Minister David Cameron said in London that the draft resolution condemns the repression and demands humanitarian access.
