Turkey: Earthquake magnitude of 6.0 strikes area in western part of country

In Turkey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 struck an area in the western part of the country near the town of Duzce. According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, the earthquake struck in the wee hours of Wednesday. The epicenter was about 14 kilometers northwest of Duzce. At least 70 aftershocks were also reported in the region. The authorities said, 35 people were injured.
