The tug of war between the government and the opposition continued and claimed second week of the Parliament.<br/><br/>In the wake of this, the Government has called an all-party meeting on Monday to break the continuous stalemate in Parliament over the Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi Friday evening, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said government is ready to accommodate the opposition's views. However, Mr. Naidu hinted that the Centre will not concede to Congress's demand for resignation of the External Affairs Minister and Chief Minister's of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.<br/><br/>Congress meanwhile, has made it clear that it will attend the all-party meeting if the Prime Minister comes out with tangible proposal to break the deadlock in Parliament. Party spokesperson Anand Sharma said stalemate in Parliament is the result of arrogance of the Government and the Prime Minister has made no effort to ensure that Parliament functions efficiently.
