In Andhra Pradesh, barring some minor incidents, the Bandh called by Telengana Rastra Samithi (TRS) is underway peacefully in Telengana region.<br/><br/>The TRS has called for ‘Telengana Bandh’ protesting the arrest of Party president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Monday ahead of his fast unto death demanding separate Telengana state.<br/><br/>Educational institutions have been closed as a precautionary measure across the region. However, the attendance at Government and private offices is as usual.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the Telengana Bandh called upon by the Telengana Rastra Samithi is more or less peaceful in the Region of Andhra Pradesh.<br/><br/>The TRS activists are so far holding peaceful demonstrations across the region protesting the arrest of their leader K Chandrasekhara Rao whose bid to launch fast unto death was foiled by police on Sunday.<br/><br/>Educational institutions have been closed down as a precautionary measure through out the region including the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.<br/><br/>The university campuses in the region which witnessed violent protests on Sunday are so far peaceful. Business entities and shops have been kept closed at several places.<br/><br/>State Road Transport Corporation has stopped plying nearly 7000 services both in districts and in the twin cities. However, private vehicles and train services are plying as usual. Government and Private Offices are functioning normally.<br/><br/>On the other hand, security has been tightened at all important public places in the state capital in view of the demonstrations being held by TRS activists at several places.<br/>
