US President Donald Trump is set to deliver his first speech before a joint session of Congress today during which he would unveil a bold agenda for the country. <br/><br/>White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in Washington that in his speech the President will lay out an optimistic vision for the country, crossing traditional lines of party, race, socioeconomic status. Spicer said, the theme will be the renewal of the American spirit. He said, the President will invite Americans of all backgrounds to come together in the service of a stronger and brighter future for the nation.<br/><br/>Mr Trump, who assumed presidency on January 20, is scheduled to deliver the prime-time speech which would be like a State of the Union Address. Traditionally, a US president should be in office for a year before they give their first State of the Union address.<br/><br/>In a State of the Union address, the president usually reflects back on the past year and how the nation is doing.
