US President Donald Trump today announced his plans to nominate former Congresswoman Heather Wilson as the next Secretary of Air Force.'<br/><br/>Currently, president of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Wilson was a member of the US House of Representatives from 1998 to 2009. If confirmed, she will be the first Air Force Academy graduate to become Secretary of the Air Force.<br/><br/>As a US lawmaker, Wilson had voted in favour of the India US Civil Nuclear Deal in the House of Representatives as she believed that integrating India into a global nonproliferation regime is a positive step.'
