US President Donald Trump has acknowledged that he is under investigation in the inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the US election. President Trump wrote on Twitter that he is being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told him to fire the FBI Director. <br/><br/>Trump did not identify the man but appeared to be questioning the integrity of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to lead the inquiry and wrote a memo the White House used to justify the firing of the ex-FBI chief, James Comey. The FBI and Congress are both looking at whether Trump campaign officials colluded with the alleged Kremlin plot. The inquiries have yet to show evidence of collusion.
