In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Rastra Samithi is sweeping the bye-elections held to 12 assembly constituencies in Telangana region. The Party won 6 seats by a huge majority and leading in 5 more segments. The TRS supported BJP candidate Lakshminarayana has defeated PCC president D Srinivas by a majority of 11,886 votes in Nizamabad Urban. While the Telugh Desam Party lost deposit in all 7 seats declared so far, the congress candidates lost it in two seats. Meanwhile, counting in five seats where ballot paper is used is in progress and final result is expected by tonight.
