TRS releases manifesto; Promises top priority to Agriculture, Industry and Welfare activities

The Telangana Rastra Samiti today released party manifesto for the coming elections. Releasing the manifesto, party president K Chandrasekhara Rao said his party will accord top priority to Agriculture, Welfare and development of Industries, if voted to power.

He announced comprehensive plans to implement welfare programmes including allocating planned budget upto 50 thousand crore rupees for SCs, 25 thousand crore for BCs and one Thousand crore for Minorities. He announced free two bed-room houses to poor families with all basic amenities. Announcing sops to each and every section of the society, Mr Rao announced waiver of crop loans.

He assured creation of 24 districts in the newly formed Telangana state and convert all Tribal hamlets into Gram Panchayats. TRS president also announced plans to produce 13,000MW (megawatt) additional power in next two years and assured irrigation to Telangana region.

Mr Rao also said the Valmiki Boya, a BC community in Telangana will be recognized as Scheduled Tribes. The community is presently Scheduled Tribe in Seemandhra region.
