TRS President says, his party will support only non-BJP govt at the centre after general elections

Telangana Rashtra Samiti President K. Chandrasekhara Rao has said that his party will support only non-BJP government at the centre after the general elections.

Launching his election campaign in Karimnagar last evening, the TRS chief said his party is a secular one and will never join hands with BJP and the National Democratic Alliance under its leadership. He reiterated that his party will fulfil 12 per cent reservations for minorities.

YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagnamohan Reddy said his party is not opposed to support even an NDA Government at the Centre to protect the interests of the Seemandhra region post the bifurcation. Releasing his party's manifesto in Hyderabad, Mr Reddy said all options are open and supporting a coalition government at the centre will protect the best interests of the region.

Meanwhile, participating in an election campaign in Malkajgiri constituency in Hyderabad, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu claimed that his party was responsible for the development of IT sector in Hyderabad.

Polling will be held on 30th of this month for 17 Lok Sabha and 119 assembly seats in the Telangana region.

AIR correspondent reports, major political parties have accorded top priority for development and welfare programmes in Telangana.
