TRS MLAs stall AP assembly proceedings on Telangana

In Andhra Pradesh, the Telengana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislators on Tuesday stalled the proceedings of the Assembly. Speaker N. Kiran Kumar Reddy adjourned the House twice for a brief period amidst slogan shouting by the TRS members. Demanding that the Assembly should pass a resolution for separate Telengana State, the TRS MLAs stalled the proceedings for more than an hour. The trouble started soon after the Speaker rejected to take up adjournment motion notice given by TRS and BJP to take up a resolution for Statehood for Telengana. Speaker also rejected to take up for discussion, three more adjournment motions on different issues. The House witnessed slogan shouting by TRS MLAs and counter slogans by Congress MLAs in favour of a united State.
