TRS Chief urges Centre to announce process for Telangana by Monday

In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Rasta Samithi President K. Chandrasekhara Rao asked the Centre to announce the commencement of process for carving out Telangana state by Monday. Speaking at the Telangana Joint Action Committee meeting in Hyderabad last evening, he said, if the Centre does not respond to their demand, indefinite bandh will be called there after. Rosaia step down as he had lost moral right to continue after resignation of all the Ministers belonging to Telangana region.
Meanwhile, all the 13 ministers from Telangana region have sent a common letter to Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi stating that they have decided to resign as the Centre's recent statement over Telangana statehood issue had caused concern to all of them. They have appealed to the Centre to announce a clear time frame for carving out Telangana state. MLAs belonging to Telangana region across party lines have already tendered their resignation to the Speaker on statehood issue.
Meanwhile, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the TRS was behind the attack on their party senior leader Janardhan Reddy. The TDP has also said that it will lead independent fight for separate Telangana state. Additional security forces have been deployed at the Osmania University campus as the situation is still volatile.
