Tension prevailed in Mahaboobnagar district when the cadres of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) obstructed to the visit of Telugu Desam party President Chandra Babu Naidu in the district when he was on his way to participate in dharna programme to protest against the non-availability of fertilizers to farmers. The slogan shouting TRS workers demanded Chandra Babu Naidu to spell out his stand with regard to separate Telangana state. The TRS Cadres attacked the convoy of Chandra Babu Naidu at Tanikametla, Kosigi and Mahaboobnagar. However, the police have arrested the agitating TRS workers. Later, Chandra Babu Naidu staged dharna at the collector's office in Mahaboobnagar. He criticized the government for its apathy to provide fertilizers to the farmers.
