In Tamil Nadu, the trough of low pressure between Sri Lanka and India has caused heavy rains in the State. The director of the Regional Met Department S.R.Ramanan today told newsmen that widespread rainfall has been reported in the Coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.He added that South West monsoon has withdrawn completely from Telengana and most parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North interior Karnataka and some parts of Rayalaseema.
