Tropical storm Otto kills nine in Costa Rica

In Costa Rica, at least nine people were killed by tropical storm Otto.<br/><br/>President Luis Guillermo Solis said that the causalities occurred along Costa Rica's border with Nicaragua. He said, thousands of people were evacuated from the affected area. <br/><br/>He said, several towns were covered by water and mud and bridges were collapsed. <br/><br/>Otto, the southernmost hurricane on record to hit Central America, made landfall in southern Nicaragua as a category-two storm on Thursday. <br/><br/>US National Hurricane Center has said, Otto has weakened rapidly and became a tropical storm as it moved into the Pacific Ocean.
