Tripura trends:Left Front leading in 40 seats,CM Sarkar in lead over Cong rival

In Tripura, the trends for 44 assembly seats out of 60 is now available. The ruling Left Front is leading in 40, Congress-2 and others 2. The Chief Minister and CPI-M candidate Manik Sarkar was leading over his nearest rival Shah Alam of Congress by 1372 votes when reports last came in. State Congress President Sudip Ray Barman is leading by 700 votes against his nearest CPIM candidate. Finance minister was leading over his nearest rival Badal Choudhury by a margin of 3 thousand votes. Transport Minister Manik Dey is leading over his nearest rival from Majlispur constituency. Health Minister and CPIM candidate Tapan Chakravarty is also leading by 1700 votes against his nearest Congress rival.
