Tripura Govt takes slew of steps to improve health infrastructure in State

Tripura Government has taken a slew of steps to improve the health infrastructure in order to put an effective fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />'' <br />''Officer on Special Duty in the COVID Management Department Dr. Vishal Kumar told AIR News that at this point of time COVID relief is the top-most priority.<br />''<br />''According to him, the state has got more than 1,700 oxygen concentrators which is 2.5 times the quantity available during COVID Phase-1. He said, the ventilator bed availability has improved from 35 to 105 in the last year. <br />''<br />''The oxygenated bed availability has improved from 191 previous year to 1,523 beds as per now and the count is continuously increasing.<br />''<br />''Dr. Vishal also informed that the state now has a 320 LPM capacity oxygen PSA plant which has raised to 2,000 LPM till 15th of July. It will reach a total capacity of 8,000 LPM by 30th of August.<br />''<br />''The state is trying its best to ensure that availability of oxygen gets boosted as much as possible in view of the face of infection.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Apart from that, adequate stock of life-saving medicines used in COVID treatment has been also available with the Health Department, he added.</span><br />
