Tripura govt imparts training to rural women on making bamboo based handicrafts

<span style="color: #222222;">In Tripura, business opportunities in handloom and handicraft are increasing. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To make the state economically rich with bamboo-based products, the state government is imparting training to rural women on making bamboo based handicrafts with new designs and polishing.<br />'' <br />'' Some entrepreneurs have also come up with Startup ventures for widespread marketing of handicraft and handloom products.<br />'' <br />'' Two engineering graduates Shiba Prasad Ghosh from NIT Warrangle and Shubhajit Chowdhury from NIT Agartala have begun a startup venture, through e-commerce platform, namely, Yongmung Commerce Ltd and their web portal <a href="http://ogocraft.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #1155cc;">OGOCRAFT.COM</span></a>.<br />'' <br />'' This startup focuses on the marketing of local craftworks and also designing new eco-friendly products. The venture of these two young engineers is expected to create a vast market in India and abroad for craft products of the Northeast including Tripura.</span><br />
