Dr Saha whose name was proposed by senior BJP leader and newly elected MLA from Dhanpur legislative assembly seat, Pratima Bhowmik was unanimously elected the leader of the legislature party in a short meeting held at the party office in Agartala, this evening.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Later, Dr. Saha along with State party Chief Rajib Bhattacharjee and senior party leader Sambit Patra called on the Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya at Raj Bhavan and staked a claim to form the next government.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Dr. Saha will be taking oath as the Chief Minister of Tripura for the second consecutive time.
