Tripura were 139 all out in their first innings in the Ranji Trophy Group A encounter with Kerala, being played at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi.Tripura won the toss and elected to bat, but soon slid to 44 for five at one stage. The slide was arrested by V R Samant who made a fine knock of 64, and D D Chowdhary who scored 21.For Kerala, Sony Cheruvathur took six wickets, P Parameshwaran 2 , Prashanth and V A Jagadeesh one each.In reply, Kerala were one for no loss.
