The Tripartite talks on Gorkhaland issue will be held in Darjeeling today. The Home Secretary, Mr. G.K. Pillai will represent the Centre, while the Chief Secretary of West Bengal government will represent the state. This is the fourth tripartite meeting on the issue. The Union Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has said that the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha(GJM), should not stick to its demand for a separate state and that the issue can be resolved through dialogue. Our correspondent reports that this is for the first time that talks are being held in Darjeeling on the issue.<br/>
