The Trinamul Congres chief and Railway Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee has demanded immediate withdrawal of central forces in Maoists infested West Midnapore, Bankura and Purulia districts. Talking to newsmen in Kolkata on Tuesday, Ms Banerjee said that deployment of joint forces in the Junglemahal did not yielded any results. She alleged that ruling party is harassing the innocent villagers in the area with the help of joint forces. Ms Banerjee also claimed that the ruling left front Government has submitted incorrect report to the Prime Minister and Home Minister on political violence and law and order situation in the state.
