Trinidad and Tobago and New South Wales reach semi-finals of Champions League

In the Champions League T-20 Cricket Tournament, Trinidad and Tobago and New South Wales have both made it to the semifinals of the tournament. The Caribbean team of Trinidad and Tobago defeated Diamond Eagles by 24 runs. Batting first, the unbeaten Caribbean side rattled up 213 for four, the highest score of the tournament. In reply, Diamond eagles managed to score 189 in their allotted 20 overs.While, in another match held earlier, New South Wales defeated Somerset by six wickets to book its place in the semi-finals. Stuart Clark and his bowling colleagues restricted Somerset to an unflattering 111 for seven. Chasing the modest target, the Australian team was off to a flying start winning the match with 8.1 overs to spare.
