In West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress has demanded an enquiry into the killing of four Eastern Frontier Rifles Jawans in the Gidhini Bazar area of West Midnapore District yesterday. Addressing rally organized by the Trinamool Congress in Kolkata today the Party Chief, Miss Mamata Banerjee said that while her Party does not support Maoists activities, it is also against the joint operations of the State and the Centre in the Jangle areas of West Midnapore, Bankura and Purulia Districts of the State. She also criticised the statement of the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee on the issue.
