In West Bengal opposition Triamool Congress and Congress alliance have sought Governor’s intervention to end violence at different parts of the State. A joint delegation of the two parties met the Governor Mr. M. K. Narayanan in Kolkata this evening. Later, the opposition leader Mr. Partha Chatterjee and working president of the State Congress Mr Pradip Bhattacharjee said that they also urged the Governor to take steps to recover illegal arms and to ensure democratic atmosphere in the state to bring peace. Trinamul Congress leader and union minister Mr. Mukul Roy was also present at the delegation. <br/>
