In Indonesia, the trial of the radical Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Ba'asyir has been adjourned after brief hearing in Jakarta. Prosecutors read out a 93 page indictment of the 72 year old cleric who is charged with terrorism related offences including funding a new militant network in Aceh province. If convicted, he could face the death penalty. Outside the courtroom, however, there are concerns that any conviction could spark a wave of sympathy.
