The trial in the Godhra carnage got over on Tuesday, more than eight years after the train burning incident that claimed 58 lives and triggered communal riots across Gujarat in 2002. Special Public Prosecutor in the case, J M Panchal said that the judgment will be pronounced after a nod from the Supreme Court as the apex court has stayed the pronouncement of the judgment in the case.The trial, which was conducted inside the Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad against 94 accused, began in June 2009 with the framing of the charges.
