Tri-Nation ODI Final: Aus beat England by 112 runs

Australia beat England by 112 runs in the final of the tri-nation ODI series at Perth. Earlier, sent in to bat, the hosts' top order fell cheaply and at one stage, the hosts were 60 for 4. It was the 141-run fifth wicket stand between Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh that rescued the home side. Maxwell fell short of his maiden ton by just 5 runs, while Marsh made 60. The end-of-innings cameo from James Faulkner helped Australia cross the 270-mark. He made 50 off 34 balls comprising 4 fours and 4 sixes. Pacer Stuart Broad bagged the maximum of 3 wickets.
