Dhaka city in Bangladesh was rocked by tremors this evening. People living in high rise buildings in Gulshan and Baridhara areas of the city reported the tremors which lasted for more than 30 seconds.According to the the US geological survey website , an earthquake of 6.4 magnitude rocked the India -Myanmar border region at around 8.pm local time in Bangladesh. The epicenter of the quake has been reported to be 85 kilometres from Imphal in Manipur,133 kilometres from Kohima in Nagaland, 227 kilometres from Aizwal in Meghalaya and 455 kilometres in Dhaka, Bangladesh .
