Tremors were felt in several parts of North India this evening after a moderate-intensity earthquake struck Uttarakhand. <br/><br/>The India Meteorological Department said, the epicentre of the quake, measuring 5.5 on the Richter Scale, was Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand.<br/><br/>IMD said, the quake struck at 8.49 pm, at a depth of 30 kilometres. There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property. Tremors were felt in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh and parts of Punjab.<br/><br/>
