The Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Bhupender Singh Hooda has said the state has made tremendous progress in the past six years in all spheres of development. Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh on Tuesday, he said as per the report of the Chief Economist of the National Council of Applied Economic Research, Haryana ranks at the top in Per Capita Net State Domestic Product. Hooda said on an average, the Gross State Domestic Product growth of Haryana in the 11th Plan was 9.5 per cent and it was expected to be 11 in the 12th Plan. In reply to a question on Mirchpur issue, Mr Hooda denied that the children of a particular community in the village are being prevented from getting education in the school.
