Treatment from CGHS empanelled hospitals: Nadda

Union Health Minister J P Nadda today said Central government health scheme (CGHS) has empanelled a large number of private hospitals to provide adequate healthcare services to its beneficiaries. Replying to questions in the Lok Sabha, Mr Nadda said CGHS is presently operational in 26 cities. He, however, informed several states did not have the presence of CGHS.<br/><br/>The minister said there is a need to have at least one CGHS wellness centre in the capital city of all states. He informed orders have been issued to set up CGHS wellness centres in Raipur, Shimla, Itanagar, Kohima, Gangtok, Agartala, Panaji among others.
