Transport Ministry to invest over Rs 50,000 cr in Rajasthan: Gadkari

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced that his ministry would invest more than 50,000 crore rupees in Rajasthan for the development of roads and roadside amenities in the next two years. Mr Gadkari was speaking in Jaipur after an award of Sanctions of road projects worth over 25,445 crore rupees by Centre to Rajasthan.<br/><br/>The Minster said that the Government would invest more than 50,000 crore rupees in two years in Rajasthan with special reference to roads and national highways. Mr Gadkari also said the country's first 'Highway Village', known as Waste and Amenities Highway Village, would be set up in Chittorgarh.
