The Union Shipping Secretary Mr K Mohandas says the commissioning of the Vallarpadam International Container Transhipment Terminal at the Cochin Port will take place only by June.<br/><br/>The commissioning of the 2000 plus crore rupee project, which was schduled for March, has been postponed owing to the delay in providing road linkage to the project.<br/><br/>Mr Mohandas was speaking to mediapersons after laying the foundation stone for the Cochin campus of the Indian Maritime University.<br/><br/>He said the economic crisis in Dubai has not affected the Vallarpadam project, being developed by the Dubai Ports World.
