India has signed defence agreements with various countries including the United States of America which cover training, military-to-military cooperation, joint exercises and capacity building, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar stated in the Lok Sabha today. <br/><br/>He said transfer of the latest defence technology is an important aspect of bilateral cooperation with the U.S.A. The two countries have initiated projects for joint development of high technology in strategic areas. <br/><br/>Mr. Parrikar informed the House that India has also signed defence agreements with Bangladesh, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Seychelles, Singapore, Sudan, Turkmenistan, and Vietnam.
