Amid dense fog, the Bihar-bound Lichavi Express rammed into the stationary Magadh Express at Saraibhopat near Etawah early today, killing the driver of Lichavi Express. The Delhi-Islampur Magadh Express was waiting at Saraibhopat when the Lichavi Express hit it from behind. In another accident, Allahabad bound Prayagraj Expressed hit from behind Gorakhpur bound Gorakhdham express near Panki station at Kanpur. Several persons were injured in the accident and were admitted in Kanpur and Etawah hospitals. Quoting railway sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that relief trains have rushed to the accident sites and senior administrative and railway officers are also reaching there.
