<span style="color: #222222;">Train services has been seriously affected due to an indefinite 'Rail Roko' agitation by the Kudmi community,- Adivasi Kudmi Samaj and all other Kudmi organisation of West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha demanding ST status and inclusion of Kudmali language in the 8 th schedule. Most of the long-distance trains along with the local trains has been either cancelled, diverted or short-terminated due to this agitation.<br />''<br />''Normal life in two districts of West Medinipur and Purulia was disrupted due to the agitation as road blockade was also affected in various parts of NH-6.
