<br/>Train services on the New Delhi- Ambala section which were severely hit in the last three days due to flooding of tracks, were restored last night. A Northern Railway spokesperson said, as many as 28 trains were cancelled yesterday and several others diverted due to the damage caused to the rail tracks near Ambala following heavy downpour in the region.<br/><br/>In Punjab and Haryana, relief and rescue operations are going on war footing in flood ravaged Kurukshetra, Ambala, Patiala, Ludhiana and Sangrur. Official sources said Army helicopters have been pressed into service in relief and rescue operations<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reportas that a fresh breach occurred in Satluj Yamuna Link at Udhar Singh village in Kuruskhetra submerging several adjoining areas.<br/><br/>Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will conduct aerial survey of flood-affected areas of Ambala, Kurukshetra and Kaithal disticts today. <br/>
