In Rajasthan, train services between Jaipur – Ratlam and Jaipur – Udaipur resumed this morning. After repairing the track near Kolikhera where the Gujjars staged a dharna, the trains on these sections have been restored. On other sections, including Jaipur-Delhi, Jaipur-Agra and Delh-Mumbai, the train services are still paralysed following cancellation or diversion of more than 80 trains. Meanwhile, bandh is observed in nine cities and towns across the State by the Gujjar protestors. The dharna in Pilupura led by Gujjar leader Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla has entered the 8th day today.
