More than 82 trains were delayed and 16 were cancelled due to dense fog in various places of north India today. According to Northern Railways, 23 trains were rescheduled as the visibility reduced to less than 400 metres.<br/><br/>A thick blanket of fog engulfed the national capital and the surrounding areas, resulting in a significant decrease in visibility levels. Meanwhile, 4 international flights were delayed due to dense fog at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.<br/><br/>Officials described visibility as manageable and said there was no major affect on flight operations because of the weather conditions. Meterological Department has predicted clear skies during the day.

Foggy conditions in the national capital affected the operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and also delayed several Delhi-bound trains. <br/><br/> At least 107 trains are running behind schedule due to the fog. 32 trains were rescheduled and 4 trains canceled. <br/><br/>According to the Delhi airport, more than 19 domestic and international flights were delayed or diverted at the Indira Gandhi International Airport while about 16 flights were cancelled.
