Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has reduced the Mobile to Mobile termination charges from 14 paise per minute to six paise per minute. <br/><br/>The termination charges are the charges payable by a Telecom Service Provider (TSP) whose subscriber originates the call, to the TSP in whose network the call terminates. The new charge will be effective from 1st of next month. <br/><br/>For other types of calls including wire-line to mobile and wire-line to wire-line, the termination charge will continue to be zero. In a statement, the TRAI said, the termination charge for all types of domestic calls will be completely eliminated from 1st of January 2020. The TRAI said, the decision has been taken on the basis of comments received from stakeholders over the issue.
