Broadcast regulator TRAI is likely to implement the 12-minute per hour cap on advertisements for non-news TV channels from today.However, some broadcasters have appealed to Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal against it.As per the TRAI regulations, non-news channels will have to submit a weekly report on quantum of advertisements shown every hour.
