The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI has extended the last date for submission of comments on six consultation papers to the 3 rd of next month.These consultation papers include review of regulation to curb pesky calls and SMS, processing fee on talk time top-up vouchers and charges for premium rate services. Suggestions have also been invited on draft regulation on quality of service for mobile internet services. The TRAI has proposed to make it mandatory for operators to activate such services within three hours of receiving the request from a customer.In a statement, TRAI has said that the date has been extended in keeping in view the requests received from some of the stakeholders for furnishing their comments.
