Tragedy averted in Jammu railway station as police recover grenades

A major tragedy was averted on Wednesday at Jammu Railway Station with the Police recovering ten highly explosive grenades from an abandoned bag. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Railway, Jammu, Raghubir Singh, a surveillance squad of Railway Police noticed a suspicious bag lying in the Station premises. Upon checking of the bag, ten small practice grenades of highly explosive nature were recovered by the squad thereby averting a possible tragedy. Mr Singh said, a method of using these grenades was also mentioned in English and Roman languages. He said these grenades will be sent to the laboratories for the verification.
