Traffic police constable used thrown water bottles as pots to plant saplings

We have witnessed many stories of grit, determination and strong will during the coronavirus imposed lockdown. It is time for another such positive story wherein a traffic police constable has used thrown water bottles as pots to plant numerous saplings.
''
'' AIR correspondent reports, one must always be conscious and concerned when it comes to protecting the environment and the work done by Mr. Sachin Jadhav, a traffic police personnel in Nashik is a shining example in this regard. Until recently, the Nashik-Agra national highway was strewn with empty water bottles thrown by migrant workers who had embarked on foot for their journey back home.
''
'' Appalled to see the bottles dotting the roads and causing harm to the environment, Mr. Jadhav decided to plant herbal seeds, saplings of colourful flowers and other plants in these bottles. These bottles are now neatly placed on the barricades and alongside the highway.
''
'' Not only this, he also takes care of the birds by putting water in some of the empty bottles to quell their thirst in this sweltering heat. Mr. Jadhav's selfless service in protecting the environment serves as an inspiration for many.
''
