In Assam, flood condition continues to be grim in Dhemaji district where surging waters submerged 315 villages yesterday. However, the movement of vehicles was restored today as the Border Road Organization repaired the damaged portion of National Highway Number -52 at Bhebeli in the district. So far 117 people have lost their lives in flood and landslides while 17 remained untraceable. Two lakh, 88 thousand people have taken shelter at 405 relief camps in 10 districts. Health department has deployed 150 medical teams in the affected districts
