In Rajasthan, the Gujjar agitation has entered 13th day today. The Delhi-Mumbai rail section is blocked as the dharna of Gujjar protestors continues on railway tracks in Pilupura. Jaipur-Agra national highway is also blocked. Meanwhile, the third round of talks between the Government and Gujjar Leaders could not be held on Friday with Gujjar leaders imposing a new condition. They are demanding from the Centre guarantee of five per cent reservation to the Gujjars. In wake of this condition, a meeting was held at the residence of Power Minister Jitendra Singh, who is also a member of Group of Ministers constituted on reservation issue. The meeting was attended by various Congress leaders belonging to Gujjar community. After the meeting, Jitendra Singh said that the outcome of the meeting will be communicated to Col. Bainsla and it was expected that he would take a positive step forward and send the 21-member delegation to Jaipur for the third round of talks.
