Trade, investment, security and defence cooperation are high on the agenda of Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s discussions with Indian leaders. The visiting dignitary will meet the Prime Minister at his residence this evening to exchange views on a host of issues. <br/>The UPA Chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi will also call on him. The summit meeting between the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his Japanese counterpart tomorrow is expected to give a new momentum to the bilateral ties. Discussions on finalising the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement will also focus prominently in the summit level talks. <br/>The two countries started consultations on the agreement in 2007. Ahead of arriving in the national capital, the Japanese Prime Minister visited Mumbai and reached Delhi this afternoon.
